Hi, I’m Rani.

I'm an Irish cyberpsychologist, wellness and lifestyle futurist, speaker and author of Live Life Yummie: A Delicious Rebellion.

My work explores what it means to live well in a hyperconnected world and how technology, food, wellbeing, lifestyle and human connection are reshaping the way we eat, live, work and thrive.

I believe food is a golden thread that connects us all. Around tables, across cultures and throughout our lives, food has a unique ability to bring people together, spark conversation, create memories and deepen our sense of connection.

As technology continues to transform modern life, I am fascinated by the intersection of digital culture and human behaviour. How do we build healthier relationships with technology? How do we create more connection in an increasingly connected world? And how do we protect the simple pleasures, rituals and experiences that make life meaningful?

These are the questions that sit at the heart of my work.

My Mission

My mission is to help people live with more joy, presence, wellbeing and connection in a fast-moving world.

Drawing on my background in cyberpsychology, mindfulness, wellness and human behaviour, I explore how small, intentional choices can have a profound impact on how we feel, relate and thrive. Whether it's how we engage with technology, what we choose to eat, how we move our bodies or the rituals we create in everyday life, our habits shape our experience of being human.

I don't believe technology is the problem. In many ways, it is one of the greatest tools we have ever created. The opportunity lies in learning how to use it more intentionally, in ways that support wellbeing, creativity, connection and human flourishing.

A central idea in my work is that pleasure is intelligence. Far from being frivolous, pleasure can be a powerful guide, helping us reconnect with ourselves, our values and the people around us.

Why This Matters

We are living through a period of extraordinary technological and cultural change. Artificial intelligence, social media, digital platforms and emerging technologies are influencing how we communicate, work, learn, shop, eat and build relationships.

Yet for all this change, our fundamental human needs remain remarkably consistent. We still crave belonging. We still seek meaning. We still want connection, community and experiences that make us feel alive.

Through my writing, speaking, media work and the Yummietarian mindset, I explore how we can embrace the possibilities of the future while remaining deeply connected to what makes us human.

Join me as we explore the future of food, lifestyle, wellbeing, digital culture and human connection and discover how to Live Life Yummie with pleasure, presence and purpose.

I also write regularly about modern life and what it means to live well in a hyperconnected world.

A central idea in my work is that pleasure is intelligence. Far from being frivolous, pleasure can be a powerful guide, helping us reconnect with ourselves, our values and the people around us.

Because when we live with intention, pleasure and joy, we don't just get through life. We create lives that feel richer, more connected and more deeply human.

That's what it means to Live Life Yummie.
